This 5 bed 4 storey Georgian house in Hoxton East London is the home of Jonathan and Hannah and their son. With backgrounds in marketing and design but with one preferring modern fixtures and fittings and the other preferring period details this home is a happy combination of the two. Sleek surfaces and modern art meld happily with original cornicing and fireplaces. It was bought 3 years ago in dire need of updating. They combined 3 small rooms and added an extension to create the large open plan kitchen diner and lounge on the ground floor. A 'grown up's' lounge and decks area is on the first floor guest bedroom bathroom and study on the second floor and the master bedroom with ensuite is on the top floor. As the custom stained glass above the door proclaims this is indeed a happy colourful house. With decks on every floor music is a constant soundtrack to the goings on in this busy family home.
